THESE ARE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO MAKE ALOO MATAR – POTATO. IT CAN BE USED AS SIDEDISH FOR RICE, NAAN, PARATHA, CHAPPATHI AND PITA BREAD.

INGREDIENTS

7 POTATOES
1 CUP Peas
1 TS Salt
1 LARGE ONION
1 TS GINGER PASTE

1 TS GARLIC PASTE
2 TS Garam masala
2 TS Turmeric powder
1 TS RED CHILI POWDER
2 TS Cumin seeds

2 Green chilies
2 TS BLACK MUSTARD
2 RED CHILIS
2 TS VEGETABLE Oil
5 CURRY LEAVES

1 TS BLACK PEPPER

THINGS NEEDED

LARGE PAN

DIRECTIONS

ADD 1 TS OIL TO pan
ADD BLACK MUSTARD
ADD CUMIN
WAIT A MINUTE
ADD BLACK PEPPER

CHOP ONIONS AND GREEN PEPPERS
CHOP TOMATOES AND POTATOES
ADD ONIONS, GREEN PEPPERS TO PAN
ADD TOMATOES
ADD GINGER PASTE

ADD GARLIC PASTE
ADD PEAS AND POTATOES
ADD GARAM MASALA
ADD TURMERIC POWDER
ADD 2 RED CHILIS
ADD 1 TS SALT
ADD 1 TS RED PEPPER POWDER
MIX WELL.

BOIL for 3 MINUTES.
ADD CURRY LEAVES
COOL DOWN FOR 3 MINUTES.
